Activating FreHand WITHOUT a new blank page

Hi guys,
How do i stop a new blank page from activating every time i enter FreeHand. I know it's probably a simple fix but i just can't remember how to do it!

I've been using FreeHand since 1985 (rust in peace Aldus!) and i can't believe there is a whole community of people for whom the CPU world has frozen since 2006 like me!!

I seem to remember seeing this question before; maybe at Adobe's FreeHand forum. I don't know how it was fixed but you might try deleting the Prefs file. That will reset your preferences and could help.

I don't see a choice in my preferences panel for auto-opening a blank document in my version of FH though. Are you using FreeHand 10 or MX? WIN or Mac?

I put this out to the FreeHand community on Facebook and the suggestion was find the default template and remove it. Templates are stored in Application Support for either Macromedia or FreeHand. Might need to do some searching.
