My idea is Vectory.
Although the .com domain isn´t available.

Ok, forget it. There is already a CAD software named Vectory. Great name though!

I put forward the name Luce, derived from 'lucid' meaning clearly expressed, and a play on the word 'loose' for its flexibility. (It also hints at 'Lucifer', for being a bit of a devil and taking on the Establishment.)

The name should meet the following criterias:
1.) Approx. 8-10 Characters long
2.) Consists of spellable, English word(s)
3.) .com domain is free without any pre- or postfix
4.) There's no hashtag for the name in Twitter (or not that much)
5.) Searching for it in google may not have too many hits and especially nothing related!
6.) And of course, people need to remember it easily

I have a negative response to all the suggestions that incorporate fragments of the name Freehand and references to "rising out of the ashes." A name that evokes the unfortunate and unpleasant end of a great application is depressing. Why keep going back to that unpleasant memory, like picking at a scab and preventing it from healing?

If we are a community of creative people, I think we should be looking forward to the next great thing and leave the past in the past. We should be pursuing that which is new and exciting. The name should portend a brilliant future.
