Paintstack is the new Stagestack.

But Adam told me on Facebook that it won't open Freehand Files in the near future......

I have had concerns about this as well recently. It seems like a one-man-band and their Twitter site had its last tweet back in June as did Facebook. The online demo is bare-bones and at that snail pace of development could be years before seeing anything substantial. Sad.

For what it's worth, the development builds of IllustratorCC are making far better progress with our FreeHand requests than this.
