LibreOffice Draw

Post by jphilipz »

Just wanted to bring to everyone's attention that LibreOffice has a vector graphics editor/diagramming tool that some may find useful. Please give it a go and let us know what you think.

Re: LibreOffice Draw

Post by FFH Mark »

I sent FreeHand test file results to LibreOffice Draw a week or two ago. I used a variety of objects, text, gradients, and paste-inside graphics in my test file. While those converted well enough, the file was peppered with strange artifacts and vectors that made no sense to the original. And some objects moved to different locations.

Could LibreOffice Draw be picking up old file information left over from years ago; perhaps from a previous Inkscape installation? I have never had LibreOffice installed but have used NeoOffice for years, and it has a drawing function. Could that have leftover art preferences affecting Draw?
