Run Freehand on an M1 Mac solution

Postby Handsfree » Thu Nov 02, 2023 2:12 pm

Although many FreeHand MX users are faced with using 'Parallels' to run freehand virtually, there is a new option if your planning on getting a new Mac soon. This will only work on the new Apple Silicon Macs and its limited to ARM based Macs. I have not tried this, but its worth a try. I do know that QUEMU (which it is based on) is blazingly fast,if you can get it to run as its not that easy, without hacking. But this APP makes it far more easier to set up and run a 'Virtual' os on a Mac, any old mac system!

Try it here: https://mac.getutm.app/

As far as I can see, its not Free but may be ideal, for FreeHand users on old Macs (like me). If anyone is tempted to buy a New ARM Mac Mini... this may decide it. I am very tempted. Its needs testing.
