All about running FreeHand inside a virtual system on more recent Macs with OS 10.7 or newer.

Running old OSX programs in Virtual Box

Post by heartsource »

Been happily using FH since 1995. Im currently using a 2008 macbook pro with two hard drives, one still running with 10.5.8 and the other with El. Capitan. The mac is showing some signs of age and instability, my question is whether to just get another refurbished mac running with Leopard, or if anyone has any experience with Virtual Box on later OSX with a virtual Leopard environment.
Couldn't find much about Virtual Box anyway re FH?

There was some info while back on using Virtual Box with SL and FreeHand. Here a link to check out from a few years ago:

Also, I would recommend going to http://osxfh.com/ and full installation of FreeHand with Parallels on any latest Mac. The full package cost $125. I use it and it runs great.
