Re: downgrade to snow leopard or use parallels?
Yes, stick with Snow Leopard. I installed Parallels on my main working machine which runs Mountain Lion but am having the 'disappearing cursor' problem and the programme just feels a little inconsistent when I'm using it. I'd consider it 'worst-case' scenario. Luckily, I have a spare machine in the ...

Re: FFH Settlement - has anyone tried to get the CS6 discoun
BTW - I was prompted to post because I've been 'trying' to put a job together in Ai (without becoming annoyed) and it was taking ages. Of course, that didn't work out too well, so I went back to FH and started from scratch. 20 minutes later, it was done.

Re: FFH Settlement - has anyone tried to get the CS6 discoun
I didn't even bother with the code. I was insulted that it was offered, to be honest. And I have to keep my software updated regularly anyway, so it was of no use to me as I have the latest versions. I'll continue using FH until it literally doesn't work anymore or when the Quasado guys can eventual...

Re: A conference?
Sounds like a great idea. UK is better for me, but might even be able to stretch to CH if given enough notice and it works within budget. I would love to see if my input can help.

Re: Help rename Stagestack/Expressive
I really appreciate you guys at Quasado trying to please everybody on this forum and it's amazing how responsive and proactive the community is with helping out on the naming convention. Just wondering if we're rushing into the name-change a bit too quickly and should keep this line of discussion op...

Re: Your expectations
At this point in Expressive's development, I would just be happy with an up-to-date version of what I already use. No need for any extras at this point. The key is the simplicity and refinement of the tools, the ease of use. It's important that current PDF export options are included and the option ...

Re: About this forum
This looks extremely promising and, the fact that it's a privately-run venture, means that cross-compatibility shouldn't be an issue as there are other interests at heart than just corporate greed. In terms of feedback? From my perspective, it just needs to do what FreeHand does, in the same way and...

Re: ADOBE MEDIATION RESULT
Obviously a disappointing outcome for all of us on this board, but I can't lay any blame on the FFH group. They've done an admirable job in being the voice that has represented us for these past few years. Now we know Adobe's position on this and the level of insult they choose to throw at us by off...

Re: $50 pledge for a new vector App. Kickstart it!
I must say, I'm keeping the faith in the FFH team and, until we know for sure what the outcome will be, I'm holding off considering other vector apps. And I'm certainly not upgrading to CS6 or Lion yet because of all the issues I've heard about with FreeHand and its files. But the introduction of fu...

Re: Freehand Crashes when I 'Save'
Yes - downloaded the Apple Security Update 1.1 and it works fine for me, too.
